Ordering
How do I place my order?
You can make your order in 5 simple steps:

  1. Visit your preferred product page from the menu (sign with 3 lines on the top left of page)
  2. Select options (i.e. shape, sizes, style)
  3. Add product to cart
  4. Proceed to checkout and select delivery date (only applicable for terrarium series)
  5. Make payment via the online payment gateway. Upon successful payment, your order will be processed.

Do I need an account to make a purchase?
No, you can make a purchase as a guest. However, creating an account with us will allow you to check on your order and receive updates on our latest products and promotions.
Can I amend or cancel my order after confirmation?
To ensure that your order is smoothly processed and promptly delivered, we are unable to amend or cancel your order after confirmation.
If the products are out of stock, can I still make an order?
If you are keen on an item that is out of stock, please drop us a message via the live chat or email us at enquiries@theorijean.com.
When will I receive my order?
Orders With Plant Terrariums
You will be able to select the delivery dates on the checkout page

Orders Without Plant Terrariums (i.e. plant supplies only)
Orders without live plants will be delivered within 3 -5 working days from the date of your purchase confirmation.

I did not receive my order?
If you did not receive your order by the stipulated date and time of delivery get in touch with us via our live chat system or any other contact method you prefer.
How many days in advance should I make my order?
Please order 3 days in advance to your intended delivery date. This is to provide us with sufficient time to prepare your terrarium. 

 

 However, if you do need an order urgently, we are able to expedite it for you. Simply top up $20 for express processing and receive your terrarium promptly.

Am I able to make a pre-order?
All our products are made to order. Pre-orders are only available during promotions or on request (enquire via our live chat).
How do i apply a coupon?
At the checkout page, apply the coupon code in the ‘Enter Coupon Code’ field and click on ‘Apply Code’. The subtotal will be updated once the code is applied successfully. If you have difficulties while doing so:

  1. Check if the code is still within its validity period.
  2. If the code is valid but you are unable to apply it, please email us at  enquiries@theorijean.com. We will get in touch with you as soon as possible!

Does the terrariums comes with plants?
All plant terrarium series come with their plants matched and potted by our lead artist. The delivery fee, customisation and urgent processing fees are charged separately. If you wish to purchase the planters and plants separately, or looking for a D.I.Y kit, you can check out our products under the ‘Supplies’ section.
Do I get to choose what goes into my terrarium?
The design for each of our terrariums is unique and crafted according to the plants available for the day. With varying plant sizes and shapes, our terrarium artist will mix and match the best choices for your terrariums. As such, it is not possible to choose specific plants when ordering. You may however indicate the types of plants or decorative items you prefer under the ‘Remarks (if any)’ field and we will try our best to meet your request.
How many plants will there be in my terrarium?
The number of plants varies according to the size of the terrarium and the chosen style. A rough guide is as follows:

Large : 3-4
Medium: 2-3
Small: 1-2

How long will my terrarium last?
With adequate care, your terrarium can last for a long time. If the plants get too tall, simply trim it gently with a pair of scissors.

Can I place my terrarium indoors?
Yes, you may place your terrariums indoors, preferably near a window where there is some sunlight and an airy breeze. However, the terrariums are also suitable for an office environment with artificial light. You may also place your terrarium outdoors under a shelter where it will not get any rain.
Can I customise my terrarium?
At The Orijean, each of our terrariums is unique in its own way as they are made to order with a minimalistic design concept. We will only provide minimal customisation e.g. colour of stones preferred/request for a space to place figurines or wedding rings. This can be done by leaving a remark under the “Additional Options ” section when making your purchase. Please consult our customer service personnel on our live chat system found on the bottom right of the screen prior to sending in your order.
Do you have closed terrariums?
We do not carry closed terrariums and only offer open terrariums.

Is there a lead time for orders?
There is a lead time of 3 working days for all orders.

For orders required with less than 3 working days, an urgent processing fee of $25/order is applicable, subject to availability. Do speak to our customer service officers via our Live Chat system for further assistance.

How will my order reach me?
You can choose to either self-collect your order or have it delivered to you.

Delivery
Plant terrarium orders will be delivered by our in-house courier services. You will be able to select the delivery dates at the checkout page. The Orijean will not be liable for any delays in delivery caused by the provision of incorrect delivery information by the Customer (for instance but not limited to where the postal code does not tally with provided address). Additional re-delivery charges will apply in such cases.

Can I have my order delivered on specific dates or timings?
1) Orders With Plant Terrariums
Plant terrarium orders will be delivered by our in-house courier services. You will be able to select the delivery dates on the checkout page.

In-house Delivery Schedules
Day/Time:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday  (10am – 6.00pm)

2) Orders Without Plant Terrariums (i.e. plant supplies only)
Orders without live plants will be delivered via local courier services and you will not be able to select your preferred delivery dates. Your order will be delivered within 5 -7 working days from the date of your purchase.

Is there a delivery charge?
Delivery charges are applicable subject to the delivery address and day; ranging between $8 and $20.
Simply enter your preferred delivery address and select your preferred delivery date (if applicable) and the delivery fees will be reflected on the checkout page.

One-Time Delivery & No Answer
All delivery fees are based on a one-time delivery. In the event of a failure to receive the product by the recipient, your order will be returned back to us. Kindly arrange for re-delivery with charges applicable.

Is next day delivery available?
Yes! If you do need an order urgently, we are able to expedite it for you. Simply order by 5pm and top up $20 for express processing to receive your terrarium promptly.
Do you ship internationally?
Our products are currently available only in Singapore. We do not ship internationally but will make this option available in the near future. Do subscribe to our newsletter for regular updates.

Why is there an additional $20 express fee when I select my delivery date?
There is an additional $20 express fee for orders that need to be expedited for delivery. Orders with less than 3 days lead time will be subjected to this charge.

What are the available modes of payment?
Payment can be made by the following methods: Credit Card (i.e. Visa, Mastercard etc.), PayNow, PayLah and interbank transfer. Please note that all prices displayed are quoted in Singapore Dollars (SGD).
Is it safe to buy online?
Maintaining the confidentiality of your personal information is of utmost importance to us. The Orijean employs Secure Socket Layers (SSL) and Paypal Payment Gateway to ensure transactions are processed safely. Be rest assured that your transactions are safe.
How do I make payment by Bank Transfer?
You will receive an invoice from us via email when you select “Bank Transfer” during checkout.

Make full payment (within 24hrs) for the amount payable directly into our bank account via Fast and Secure Transfers (FAST) or PayNow:

Once done, please drop us a message via our Facebook Live Chat to notify us of your payment and provide us with the fund transfer transaction number.

How do I know if my payment is successful?

Can I return my purchase?
We hope that you’ll be completely satisfied with your purchase at The Orijean. Because live plants are subjected to variable conditions, we’re not able to offer an exchange or refund.
What if my plants wither?
We ask that you take extra care of your living plants as they are perishable and subjected to variable conditions such as weather, transportation, soil quality, watering, and positioning in your garden. Acceptance of our plant products at the time of sale is considered proof of good health and survivability. If a plant arrives damaged, dead, or does not meet your expectations, we will replace it free of charge.

How do I sign up for a workshop?
Get started by messaging us via our live chat or emailing us at enquiries@theorijean.com to check on availability and to make a booking.
Can I bring my friend along to observe while I participate in the workshop?
Each signup is only valid for a single participant’s entry and participation, no external parties are allowed.
Every additional accompanying person will be required to sign up as a participant.
In the event of violation by any of the participants for the above instance, The Orijean reserve the right to deny him/her from joining the workshop.
Can I transfer my workshop booking to someone else?
Each workshop booking bears a unique serial/invoice number, which will be sent to you no later than 2 weeks before the date of workshop.

You can transfer your your workshop booking if desired. Attendance will be taken based on the unique serial/invoice number.

Cancellation Policy
There will be no refund for any cancellation of workshops that has been paid for. Cancellations or no-show will be deemed as a used lesson.
Punctuality & Attendance
The workshop will start on time with no delays. Some of our products will be placed on display; so do arrive early to get some inspiration for your own terrarium before the workshop starts!
How much do the workshops cost?
Check out our workshop page for more details and costs. By the way, you may like to know that the more people there are in a single workshop session, the cheaper it gets. Gather your friends and have fun together!
Can I have a private workshop?
Yes! All of our workshops are on a private arrangement and can start with just 2 pax. It is a great idea for a birthday party, corporate event or a simple get together. 
Can you create a customised workshop experience for me?
Yes, simply speak to us via our live chat or email us at sales@theorijean.com to let us know of the details.
Where will the workshop be held?
All our workshops are held offsite; in the comfort of your provided venue. We will bring the workshop to your doorstep so you would not need to worry about travelling around.
Can I request for other vases?
Workshops are conducted with cube vases as they have a wider opening, allowing participants to have a better and more enjoyable learning experience. However, you may request to upgrade to a bigger terrarium at an additional cost. Any add-ons/upgrades can be made during sign-up or before the start of the workshop.
How many plants will there be in my terrarium?
The number of plants varies according to the size of the terrarium used for the workshop. A rough guide is as follows:

Medium: 3-4 /pax

What do I need to bring for the terrarium workshop?
It is not necessary for you to bring any tools or equipment as all required materials will be provided. If you wish to bring home a set of our planting tools, you can request for an add-on when signing up, subjected to additional charges.

What are the rates for the terrarium live station?

Can I transfer my booking to someone else?
Transfer of booking is strictly not allowed. The Orijean reserve all rights to deny its services to be rendered to any 3rd party to whom the booking was transferred and the Customer’s deposit will be forfeited.

Payments
Live Station service involves the use of live plants which are catered to your booking, a full payment is required to secure your booking. A confirmation email will be sent to you when the payment for your booking clears our account.
Can I cancel and get a refund after making booking?
There are no refunds for any cancellations upon booking confirmation. Cancellations will render your booking forfeited.
